This course will explore the evolution of the Fantasy genre from its earliest days to the modern era, informing students of the genre's growth over the decades.
Throughout this course students will:

  • Understand the evolution of the Fantasy genre
  • Recognize trends and themes in the genre
  • Engage with the genre in new ways with a new appreciation
  • Understand how to create works that take advantage of the genre's strengths
